RikerandBashir: In accordance with local regulations..., the nearby Romulans have declared that this area is within the neutral zone. The previous hole in the shield has been mended and legal action against trespassers.

In short, the bar nearby Patrick's, is under new ownership and the alleyway is apparently their property. They no longer wish for people to park nearby and the hole that used to be there in the fence is now patched up, making this cache irretrievable. I have yet to figure out exactly how I will retrieve it.

On stardate 64234.4, Commander Riker and Chief Medical Officer Bashir hid their first cache after a temporal distortion dropped them in the 21st century. Their logs were hidden with the hopes that others would sign it so that future Starfleet officers (you and your away team) would be able to track their whereabouts back in the past, to rescue them.

Your mission briefing:
It's located in a city. Appropriate clothing will be necessary, so ask the computer to replicate some. The Klingons refuse to give the Federation their cloaking technology, so the away team must be discrete. Don't draw attention! It's located in a metro-owned alleyway, not on private property. It is in an alley, so watch for Romulan spies. We suggest you go through the alley, rather than "climbing up" to it. It's much safer.

Periodically, the integrated replicator will synthesize a gold communicator device if the old one has been removed. These will help with temporal tracking. Please take it if you locate it.

If you can't find it within yourselves to find this cache, you don't deserve to wear that uniform.
