Alsume’s 18th cache takes you to a location along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail. It gives you an impressive view of the rail bridge that spans the valley – and features in another nearby Alsume cache. If your timing is good you may see a train crossing the valley high above. The cache is small and contains a log book and a FTF pin prize. There is room for very small swaps only. You will need to bring your own pen. There are several other caches nearby to make the journey worthwhile, including: GCN50F Aviator Training GC13J7Z MPCT #2 – Boeing Boeing, and GC13J86 MPCT #3 – Smell the BBQ? If you are planning on a big day of caching the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, bring your bike or do some pre-planning and the full MPCT series of six caches plus a bonus cache might also be appealing.
