ELLES SONT INDEPENDANTES ET ONT MEURS PROPRES RICHESSES ET VALEURS, MAIS FAITES EN RALLYE ELLES, PROCURERONT( J’ESPERE ) AUX GEOCACHEURS, ( ET SUIVANT LA SAISON) UN SENTIMENT DE BIEN ETRE, DE PLENITUDE ET UNE BELLE NOSTALIGUE.L’IDEE EST DE RETROUVER CE QU’A ETE LA PROVENCE D’AVANT.

Ici, pas de vrai village, pas même de panneau indicatif ! Châteauneuf-Miravail n’a d’autre prétention que d’être un havre de paix dans un site verdoyant, loin, très loin des grands axes de circulation.
On peut y admirer plusieurs belles fermes avec dépendances encore en activité et quelques vieilles granges restaurées, éparpillées dans cette merveilleuse vallée du Jabron, située au pied de la montagne de Lure.
Près verdoyants, bordés de falaises verticales rocheuses coiffées de sapins, champs cultivés formant des losanges jaunes entourés de haies vert sombre, et le Jabron qui serpente paresseusement dans son lit de cailloux … La nature est reine à Châteauneuf-Miravail.
Mais vous serez surpris d’apprendre que la petit église paroissiale( Sainte MARY) recèle, pour qui se donne la peine d’entrer, une peinture, représentant “les saints Patris, Joseph, Aloys et Crespin”, datée de 1687 … classée monument historique depuis 1988
A proximité de l’église, vous pourrez pique- niquer.
Actuellement dans un très petit batiment collé à l’église vous trouverez la reconstitution parfaite ( petit musé) d’une classe d’école des années 1860.
La cache est discrete et a hauteur de Genoux. Merci de faire attention a son emplacement et aux Moldus
