I am doing this ocasional series of simple one stage multi-caches, as I would like to share with you some of the interesting memorials that I have come across, while out walking the Flatcoats in my local area.
Please feel free to add to this series if you wish.
THE WINDSURFER – At the above co-ordinates you will find a very nice memorial to Christopher Toomer, who was a water sports instructor at the reservoir, who sadly died in a car accident.
Christopher died in the year ABCD, and his age was EF.
The cache can be found a few minutes walk away at
N51.02.(A+E)(A+D)(F-D) W000.06.(B+C)(A+D+E)(D-B)
You can park in the nearby reservoir car park during its opening hours, but you will have to pay £1, unless you are lucky and the barrier is not working! Alternatively you can walk here from several different directions.
