Geocache Description:

[LAT] Šis tilts līdz 1996.gadam nodrošināja ne pārāk biežo dzelzceļa satiksmi starp Liepāju un Ventspili. [ENG] Until 1996, this bridge supported not very frequent rail connection between Liepaja and Ventspils.

[LAT] Kādreiz te bija Latvijas Dzelzceļa līnija no Liepājas uz Ventspili, un otrādi, kura veda pāri Sakas upei, tagad dzelzceļš ir nojaukts, bet tilts nekurienē un bez noteiktas funkcijas ir saglabājies. Patiks visiem tiem, kam tīk tilti, kāpelēšana un pamestas vietas. Kāpšanas ekipējums nav nepieciešams.

[ENG] Once upon time there was a Latvian Railway connection from Liepaja to Ventspils and vice versa. This link led over Saka river. The railway is now demolished, but the bridge still stood nowhere, and without certain functionality. Will appeal to all those who enjoy bridges, climbing and abandoned places. Climbing equipment is not necessary.
