Geocache Description:

This cache is not about the hide, it's about the view!... and the hike. The two of us mid-to-late twenties guys went hard on this trip and ended up walking off the mountain like we were 150 years old. Hence the terrain rating.

This is my 10th hide. I wanted it to be something good.. memorable.. how about EPIC! I think this should fall into one of those catagories. Ever since i've started caching, i've been enjoying the fact that i can now re-enter the toy department of a lot of stores and shop like a kid. So this cache has a few toys, a couple pins etc. to start with. however it only has a pen to write with so you may want to bring your own pencil to sign the paper (what can i say, i was more concerned with packing my sleeping bag tent and food at the time)

So you have a couple options here. You can do what we did and hike to Turbine canyon



then take a day hike up to haig glacier (highly recomended)



on your way however stop by have some lunch and enjoy the view (one of the best lunch views i've ever had)

you can also camp at the forks and do a wicked quick day hike to the cache and back. it will be hard but without 50 lbs on your back it should be plausible
