Bågedeforsen (294 meters AMSL) constitutes the borderline between the upper and the lower part of Ströms Vattudal. Steamship traffic operated here from 1870 to 1936 and at Bågede the cargo and travelers where re-loaded. Ships that has operated on Ströms Vattudal;
Ströms Vattudal and Virgo (lower), Turisten och Viking (upper) and Gäddede (Kvarnbergsvattnet).
Pay attention to the warning and information signs nearby!
