Bastustainen är ett 5 m högt flyttblock av rapakivigranit, som har sitt ursprung i Finland. Det är Gotlands största flyttblock. Namnet kommer ifrån att det har legat en bastu, eller badstuga intill stenen.
Bastustainen is a 5 meter high stone, moved to the locaition by the is in the last iceage. It´s made of rapakivigranite and it´s origin from Finland. There has been a sauna beside the stone earlyer, and the name of the stone is from the swedish word for sauna, "bastu".
Stenen ligger på en åker. Om det finns grödor på åkern, vänligen gå MYCKET försikigt för att inte trampa ner! Bäst parkerar man norr om huset som ligger på samma sida som stenen.
Cachen innehåller mugglarinfo, en penna, en loggbok, en golfboll, ett kattgem, en apelsinskalare, ett reflexhalsband, ett hårspänne, en 5 euro centare, en dansk enkrona, 1 tysk 10 pfenning, och ett slitet mynt av okänt ursprung, ev grekiskt.
The stone is locaded on farmland. Please walk carfully NOT to destroy any crops. The best place to park is on the north side of the house locaded on the same side as the stone.
The cache contains mugglerinfo, a pensil, a logbook and some things to swap.
