Details:
You will need to download the wherigo cartridge to your GPS or
smartphone in order to hunt for this cache. You can find the
wherigo file by clicking on the related website link, or
here. For more information on Wherigo Caches, check out the
Wherigo website. The entire
cache is in Odell Park, and should take about half an hour.
Note that, as a wherigo cache, there is a physical
geocache at the end of the wherigo program. Once you have found the
cache, it would be awesome if you could take the newly
created .gws file from your wherigo device (your GPS, or
smartphone, etc), and upload that file
here. Just click UNLOCK at the left side of the page, and
upload the file. This will give me critical feedback about how
people find this cache, and will allow me to make improvements to
this and future wherigo caches. Note that not all devices generate
a .gws file, I've learned - but if yours does, please help me out!
You'll also get a completion code for finishing it, which you can
enter at the same place, but it's automatically entered if you
upload the file.
So, in short, if you can upload the .gws file after finding the
cache, that would be awesome. If you don't, that's fine too - I
just hope that you enjoyed Fredericton's First Wherigo Cache.
Note: if you experience a problem / glitch with the wherigo,
please send us a message letting us know so it can be fixed.
Newest wherigo cartridge: August 4, 2010.
