Nel centro c'è una vecchia piscina termale.
Bagno Vignoni, 306 metri sul livello del mare, era centro termale noto fin dall’antichità, si trova a 4 km da San Quirico e 500 mt. dalla S.S. Cassia. Le acque scaturiscono dal sottosuolo, al centro della vasca di Santa Caterina, a una temperatura di 50° e sono utilizzate nell’attiguo stabilimento.
Bagno Vignoni era anche un centro molitorio importante per la Val d’Orcia. Quattro mulini scavati nella roccia usavano l’acqua della sorgente termale per far girare le macine per il grano, e così è stato per secoli fino agli anni cinquanta. Poi i mulini sono stati abbandonati.

Bagno Vignoni, 306 meters above sea level, is situated just 4 km from San Qurico and 500 metres from the S.S. or Cassia. The water gushes up in the centre of the pool at temperature of 50°. The water is used to treat.
Bagno Vignoni was an important milling centre for the Val d’ Orcia. Four mills were dug into the rock and the termal water was used to turn the wheels to grind the grain. The mills were in use up until the 1950’s when they were abandoned.
