[LVL] Latvijas Olimpiska centra buvnieciba sakas 2002.gada, bet to svinigi atklaja 2005.gada vasara. Centrs uzbuvets bijuša hipodroma teritorija.
Olimpiska centra kopeja platiba ir gandriz 24 tukstoši kvadratmetru, un taja ar sportu var nodarboties vairak neka 2000 cilveku diena.
Centra trenejas basketbola klubi „TTT Riga” un „VEF Riga”.
Šeit atrodas sešas sporta zales, trenažieru zale, divas aerobikas zales, peldbaseins un piebuve, kura atrodas sporta federaciju biroju telpas.
Centrs tiek izmantots ari dažadu publisku pasakumu - konferencu, sanaksmju, korporativo pasakumu organizešanai. Ieverojamakais notikums, kas norisinajies centra, ir NATO samits 2006.gada novembri.
Ik gadu pie Olimpiska sporta centra tituletie olimpieši stada kokus Olimpiešu aleja. Kopa aleja ir iestaditi jau 12 koki.
[ENG] The Olympic centre has been started to build in 2002 but in the summer of 2005 it was unveiled. Centre has built at the former territory of the hippodrome.
The area of the Olympic centre is almost 24 000 m² and there can more than 2000 people playing sport in a day.
There are six sports halls, fitness hall, two aerobics halls, swimming pool and sports federation offices. Famous basketball club „TTT Riga” and „VEF Riga” is training here.
Not only sport events, international competitions but also public activities are organized in the centre. Remarkable event that is organized in the Olypmic centre is NATO summit in 2006.
Every year titled Latvian olympians are planting a tree. There are 12 trees planted already.
