Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Mount Sunflower. Very little walking required. Access is on dirt roads so weather and road conditions should be a consideration.

Climb to the highest point in Kansas (4039’ above sea level). To climb Mount Sunflower is to enter the forbidden realm of the heavens --Only those willing to accept the consequences should venture there.

To verify that you have found this cache and claim credit for a find, visit the site and then, Message me the year date on the monument on the west side of the cage. Please don't post it on the web site.

Please sign the regular Mt Sunflower log and spend a few minutes looking over who has visited the site. There is an average of 1 visitor per day stopping by to say that they have been to the top. Feel free to post or send me a picture of you or your group at Mt. Sunflower.

Note: this started out as a regular cache but due to wind damage, the cache container & log disappeared...Thanks to Ed Harold, the property owner, for letting me place the cache.
