Geocache Description:

Cache point is near Koshinzuka Sta of Toden Arakawa Line.

Cache is hidden near Sarutahiko shrine.
Cache size is micro,so please bring a writting pen.

There was Koshinzuka of Sugamo in the place where the Ouji way intersected Nakasen-doo way.
There seems to have been famous in the days of Edo as a rest station near Itabashi inns.

Here are Imperial guardian "monkeys" instead of lions.

都電荒川線庚申塚駅が最寄り駅となります。

猿田彦神社の近くにキャッシュはあります。
マイクロなので、筆記用具持参にてお願いします。

巣鴨の庚申塚は中山道と王子道の交わる所にあり、板橋宿の一つ手前の立場（休憩所）として江戸時代賑わっていたそうです。
庚申塚は広重の浮世絵にも描かれています。

猿田彦大神とは、道の神、旅人の神といわれ、明治初期、千葉県銚子市にある猿田神社から猿田彦大神を分祀した神社です。

この小さな神社の前には狛犬の代わりに「狛猿」がいます（阿吽でないので厳密には違いますが・・・）
