Geocache Description:

On a path that will lead to other caches further on this trail. The trail is an old service road that is now some what overgrown, but a pathway is still available.

This area was once all part of the Iverson Ranch. This area was used extensively for the movie and television industry from 1914 up to the mid 60's when the State of California put in the Simi Valley Freeway. The freeway was built through the northern edge of the lower Iverson and the noise from the cars doomed the movie ranch. Some of the movie and television shows include the Tarzan series, many Bonanza series, and The Lone Ranger.
