Slepnis atrodas 1. Latvijas brivvalsts armijas Autotanku brigades bijušaja teritorija.

Vieta samera publiska gaišaja diennakts laika.

Neatkarigas Latvijas armijas Autotanku brigade ietilpa Tehniskaja divizija. Pirms 1940. gada 1. marta to sauca par autotanku pulku. Brigade bija izvietota Riga, Pulka seta (tagadeja Pulka iela), kur joprojam ir apskatams neliels piemineklis "Brunu mašina" (uzstadits 1939. gada), un viena rota atradas ari Daugavpili, tuvuma planotajai aizsardzibas linijai pret iespejamo PSRS iebrukumu. Pec 1939. gada brigades štabs parcelas uz Cesim. Brigadi komandeja generalis Oto Grosbarts, kurš bija ari spekratu dienesta priekšnieks, lai gan 1929. gada isu laiku to komandeja ari Janis Kalkis. 1940.gada 29. februari, ar Valsts prezidenta paveli, pulkvedi Oto Grosbartu paaugstinaja par generali. 1940. gada pavasari, parcelot brigades štabu uz Cesim, par ta priekšnieku iecela pulkvedi Jani Kalki. Autotanku brigade beidza pastavet 1940. gada julija.

 Cache is located in the first Latvian Free state army Autotanks brigade former territory.  During the day quiet public place.


 
Independent Latvia army Autotanks brigade was included in the Technical division. Before the 1st March of 1940 it was called autotanks regiment. Brigade was located in Riga, on Pulka Yard (now Pulka Street), where still can be seen a small monument "Armor car" (set up in 1939), and one company was also in Daugavpils, near the planned line of defense against a possible Soviet invasion. After 1939th brigade headquarter moved to Cesis. Brigade was commanded by General Otto Grosbarts, who was also the Chief of Service vehicle, although in the 1929th  a short time it was commanded by Janis Kalkis, too. On the 29th February, 1940, the President appointed the Colonel Otto Grosbarts as General. In the spring of 1940th, moving the brigade headquarter to Cesis, for its chief was appointed Colonel Janis KalkisAutotanks brigade ceased to exist on July 1940th
