Alcaria
Uma viagem no tempo!
A Anta de Mazes,
pertence à freguesia de Lazarim, em Lamego. Encontra-se hoje em dia
totalmente desabitada, embora muitas casas se mantenham em bom
estado de conservação.
É também conhecida
por Alcaria de Mazes, o que indica ter sido uma aldeia habitada em
regime sazonal, acompanhando os roteiros do pastoreio de
transumância.
Embora não seja
habitada, permanentemente, desde os anos sessenta do século XX,
ainda hoje lá se guarda gado, forragens e alguns pastores aí
pernoitam.
A maior parte das
habitações, com feição muito rústica, são construídas em pedra
(granito), e possuem telhados de colmo. No interior podem ver-se
lareiras, fornos, e por vezes recheios completos. Existem
igualmente dependências agrícolas bem conservadas,
independentes ou
situadas no rés-do-chão das casas, em loja.
A aldeia possui
várias fontes de água cristalina.

The Anta de
Mazes, belongs to the parish of Lazarim in Lamego. Now is
completely uninhabited, although many houses are kept in good
shape.
Also known as Alcaria of Mazes, indicating it was a village
habited on a seasonal basis, following the routes of transhumance
herding.
Although inhabited, permanently, since the sixties of the twentieth
century, even today there are guarded livestock, fodder and some
pastors sleeps there overnight.
Most of the houses, with very rustic garb, are built in stone
(granite), and have straw roofings. Inside can be seen fireplaces,
furnaces, and sometimes complete fillings. There are also
agricultural facilities well maintained, independent or located on
ground floor of the houses, in store.
The village also has several sources of clear
water.
