Note: This property is accessible year round to all but is closed at night. All NFA properties are held in trust and are open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash and under the owner's control at all times.

Mulholland Fact: John Mulholland married Pauline Nell Pierce on May 17, 1932. Pauline was 1st cousin to the 14th President of the US, Franklin Pierce and 2nd cousin to Barbara Pierce Bush (wife of president George H. Bush). Pauline's family was wealthy (her father was a General of the US Army) and gave Pauline 70 acres in Newtown, CT as a wedding present to build a summer cottage. This is where the 30 acres NFA preserve originated.
