Kostol Ducha Svätého

Literatúra uvádza postavenie kostola okolo roku 1580. Jedná sa o Jednolodováú stavbu zaklenutú valenou klenbou. Z hladiska architektúry možno farský kostol Ducha svätého charakterizovat ako renesancný jednolodový sakrálny objekt s predstavanou masívnou štvorhrannou vežou. V interiéri sú valené lunetové klenby s hrebienkom. Chór a bocné oltáre pochádzajú z 18. stor. Na západnej strane je vstavaný chór z konca 19. storocia, zaklenutý pruskými klenbami. Stavba je vybudovaná z kamena a má škridlou pokrytú strechu.

[ENG] Literature lists the foundation of the church around the year 1580. It is a one-nave building with a barrel vault.From the architectural point of view it is possible to characterize the Church of Holy Spirit as a renaissance one-nave sacral object with a massive 4-sided tower at the front. In the interior there are barrel lunette vaults ended with a rib. The chorus and the side altars date back to 18th century. On the west side is a inbuilt chorus from the 19th century vaulted by Prussian vaults. The building is made of stone with tiled roof.

Za kostolom sa nachádza cintorín patriaci farnosti Devínskej Novej Vsi.Pri kostole sa nachádza tiež kaplnka oproti ktorej možno nájst sochu svätého Jána Nepomuckého ,situovanú vo vstupnej casti areálu kostola. Svätec stojí v miernom predklone, oblecený je do cirkevného rúcha, na hlave má biret. V lavej ruke drží zatvorenú knihu, atribút, ktorý držal v pravej ruke žial chýba.

[ENG] Behind the church is situated a cemetery belonging to the parish of Devinska Nova Ves. Near the church is a chapel in front of which it is possible to find the statue of St. John Nepomucene situated at the entrance to the areal of the church. The saint is in a slight bow, dressed in a clerical robe a biret on his head. In his left hand he holds a book however the article from the right hand is missing.
