Please arrive on time, because the college
is on summer hours and someone will be holding the door open for
the participants. Up front administrative details will
then be handled and announcements made, allowing the course content
to start at 7:00 p.m. Adding a "Will Attend" log to this page will
assure enough hard copy handouts are printed for the event
participants.
Please bring your favorite nonalcoholic beverage to share with
cachers, but don't bring food as that will incur extra room
cleaning charges.
There will be a free-will offering cache container at the event
to help defray the costs of hosting these FUNdamentals events.
Learn about what you will find in a cache, ranging from swag
(trade items) to travelers (geocoins, travel bugs), to signature
items, and what to do with them. The event will be hosted in
Anchorage and transmitted to remote locations in Homer, Wasilla,
Valdez, and Soldotna via WebEx. Please place a watch on this
event page to stay appraised of the final details. If you
would like to host this presentation elsewhere in Alaska, please
contact Education Committee Chair, Paul
Miller.
Paul Miller, aka Capra Hircus, and Sean Gaither, aka FTL-AK,
will present Geoswag FUNdamentals in a fast-paced PowerPoint
presentation. The course content will not exceed thirty
minutes with time at the end for questions and answers. The
