Geocache Description:

The Pea Soup Stroll has been made up to coincide with the Monthly Mid-Week Meet in Sussex #26, which takes place at The Black Swan, Pease Pottage on Wednesday 19th May, 2010, but the caches will remain in place after the event. There is plenty of room for street parking betwen #1 and #2.

There are 9 caches, set on a circular walk of about 2.75 miles, some of which is through lovely bluebell woods and fields, but some is on minor roads, so it may not be very suitable for dogs or young children. Seven of the caches are traditionals and 2 are multis, needed to help show you which way to go. I would not recommend trying to do the walk backwards unless you want to cover the same ground twice.

WARNING – These caches are a little different from my usual hides, so be prepared for anything!

On the way you will pass by 3 older caches which you can also do, if you have not already done them. They are GC1YJQ6 (Unloved Road), GC1PR23 (Sussex ABC – P is for Pease Pottage) and GC14AED(Truckstop 2) if you dare!

YOU MUST NOT TRY TO GO ONTO THE MAIN ROAD, JUST TAKE THE FOOTBRIDGE OVER IT.

Stage 1 - When you reach the above co-ordinates, look up and you will see two groups of nuts. Looking at one side of one group only, how many rows are there? Answer = A.
How many nuts are there in one row? Answer = B.

Stage 2 – Go to N51.04.616 W000.12.192
What are the numbers on the lowest plaque on the pole. Answer CD EFGH

The cache can be found at N51.04.B(D-E)(H-E) W000.11.(B+E)D(H+E)
