Ikivanha Sofiankatu Helsingin sydämessä on tunnelmallinen
ulkoilmamuseo. Se esittelee katukiveyksiä ja kadunkalusteita
1700-luvun lopulta 1930-luvulle. Katumuseo palkittiin
erityismaininnalla Vuoden eurooppalainen museo 2002
-kilpailussa.
Kadun varrella toimii myös yksi Helsingin viimeisistä
yksityisistä korttelielokuvateattereista. Kino Engelissä esitetään
eritoten eurooppalaisia ja aasialaisia laatuelokuvia.
Purkkiin saattaa mahtua pieni geokolikko, mutta ei kynää. Ota
siis oma terävä kynä mukaan! GPS-kuuluvuus on heikko, ellei
olematon.

The old Sofiankatu in the heart of Helsinki is a cosy open-air
museum, which presents street pavements and street furniture from
the late 18th century to the 1930s. The Street Museum was specially
commended in the European Museum of the Year Award 2002
competition.
Kino Engel, one of the very few independent movie theaters in
Helsinki, is also located on the same street. The theater focuses
on European and Asian quality cinema.
The canister may have room for a small geocoin. Nevertheless,
bring your own sharp pencil! The GPS accuracy is poor, if not next
to zero.
