The hike will start on Rt. 971 in the small parking area, beside the bridge, directly in front of the Yvonne Twp. Sign (N40 30.522, W78 21.324).
Cross the street and start up the south side of Brush Mt. (No trail here!)At the top of the mountain there will be views of Kettle Resevoir behind and to your right. Locate the bulldozer path and follow along the fire damaged areas. In the large clearing, bear to the left and follow this path a distance until you reach an old vehicle path on your right.
After following the vehicle path you will head off to the right (No path here either!)and to the large area of rocks
(N40 31.687, W78 19.214)Altitude 2,630 ft. With views toward Lake Raystown. Head north continuously through a "tree graveyard" and further on to the target...A large outcropping of rocks (N40 31.987, W78 18.888).
The cache is in a black tupperware container, being held in place by an odd shaped rock (Let us know what you think of the rock). The loot is worthy of this hike. There is an item choosen by each of us and a few extras for good measure. Use the camera to take a picture and let us know if the film is done. Again Good Luck!
