The cache is located on the old Edinburgh Suburban Railway line on the stretch between Craiglockhart and Morningside. This railway hasn't carried passengers since 1962 but there is a petition to have it reinstated and the occasional freight train still runs along it. Try counting the carriages if you see a coal train! The path is a nice, yet rarely used, cycleway/footpath. It is between GC1P6GQ (Craiglockhart Station) and GC26VF7 (Morningside Road Station), which are both also well worth a visit.

As for the cache itself, it's a small, white container. It shouldn't be too hard to find it with the clue and a little bit of lateral thinking.
