Das Cache-Versteck befindet sich beim EKZ Thayapark.

Keš najdete v blízkosti nového nákupního centra Thayapark ve Waidhofenu v blízkosti sila.
Seit 23.8.2012 verfügt die Bezirkshauptstadt Waidhofen a.d. Thaya nun endlich auch über ein Einkaufszentrum - genannt "Thayapark". Du kannst daher nach dem Heben des Caches dem Shoppingvergnügen freien Lauf lassen ;-)
Der Kreisverkehr beim Siloturm ist seit Kurzem mit einem Kunstwerk geschmückt werden - einem Hasen, der an Albrecht Dürers Zeichnung angelehnt sein soll. Foto wird demnächst ergänzt.
Dieser Cache wurde am 7.9.2012 von Cat_67 & Xenon_76 übernommen. Um ein unauffälligers Heben des Caches zu ermöglichen, wurde Cachegröße auf Micro geändert (es handelt sich um einen Petling). Werktags ist bitte Stealthmodus angesagt!!!! Bitte eigenen Stift mitbringen!!!!

Der ursprüngliche Ort dieses Caches war nahe des Fliegergedenksteines, da dies jedoch nach Errichtung des EKZ kein günstiges Versteck mehr gewesen wäre, haben wir den Cache verlagert. Wir empfehlen euch trotzdem zusätzlich den Besuch des Fliegergedenksteines; dieser befindet sich auf der Brunner Straße, vom EKZ kommend Richtung Brunn. Geschichte dazu:
Der Stein wurde anläßlich der Landung von Dr.Josef Sablatnig, die
am 25. August 1911 in Waidhofen im Rahmen des Niederösterreich
Rundfluges erfolgte, errrichtet. Sablatnig gewann diesen mit 20.000
Kronen dotierten NÖ-Rundflug auf einem Farman-Doppeldecker. 1913
gab es in Waidhofen einen Luftflottentag bei dem auch Karl Illner
anwesend war. Karl Illner gelang am 10.10.1910 als ersten der
Überlandflug Wien - Horn - Wien auf einer Etrich - IV Taube, damit
gewann er den "Großen Preis der Stadt Wien" Flugkunst von Meister
Karl Illner am 6. Juli 1913.

Since Aug 23 2012 the district capital Waidhofen a.d. Thaya has now finally a shopping centre too - called Thayapark. After logging the Cache enjoy shopping as much as you like it ;-)
The roundabout at the silo tower shows since a few weeks a work of art - a hare, said to be inspired by Albrecht Dürer's drawing. Picture will be added shortly.
This cache was adopted on Sept 7 2012 by Cat_67 & Xenon_76. In order to enable an easier logging cachesize was reduced to micro. During opening hours steahlmodus required!!! The container is a 35 mm film canister. There is an "emergency micro-pencil" in the cache-box, PLEASE DO NO REMOVE, but it is recommended to bring your own pencil!
The original location of this cache was near the flyer memorial stone, as this would not have been a suitable hiding place for the cache after the construction of the shopping centre, we have shifted the cache. We still recommend you also to visit the flyer memorial stone in addition; this is on the Brunner Straße, coming from the shopping centre in the direction towards Brunn. Story:
The stone was erected at the occasion of the landing of Dr. Josef Sablatnig on August 25 1911, as part of Lower Austria Waidhofen
Sightseeing flight. Sablatnig won that with 20,000
Crowns donated Air Tour doped on a Farman biplane. 1913
there were in Waidhofen a so called "Luftflottentag" at which Karl Illner was present. Karl Illner succeeded on Oct 10 1910 as the first of Cross-country flight Vienna - Horn - Vienna on a Etrich - IV dove. He won the "Grand Prize of the City of Vienna" Art of Flight Master 6 July 1913.

Od 23 srpen 2012 má i okresní město Waidhofen ad Thaya své nové nákupní centrum nazvané Thayapark.
Po zalogování keše jestli chcete, můžete si tu i nakoupit.
U kruhového objezdu u sila najdete již několik týdnů i umělecké dílo - zajíce, který vznikl jako inspirace kresbou Albrechta Dürerera. Foto přidáme brzy.
Tato cache byla vytvořena 7.09.2012 v týmu kačerů Cat_67 & Xenon_76.
Za účelem umožnění snadnější logování je keš ve velikosti mikro. Je to krabička od fotofilmu ve velikosti
35 mm a je uvnitř malá tužka. Neberte ji prosím. Ale lepší bude, když si vezmete na zapsání svoji.
Původní umístění této keše bylo blízko pamětního kamene, protože tu byl vhodný úkryt pro keš v době výstavby obchodního centra. I teď vám doporučujeme toto místo navštívit., je to na ulici Brunner, nacházející se od nákupního centra ve směru na Brno nebo Slavonice.
Pamětní kámen byl postaven u příležitosti 100 letého výročí přistání Dr. Josefa Sablatniga 25. srpna 1911 v této části Dolního Rakouska na dvojplošníku Farman. 1913
