Geocache Description:

All Aboard the Dinosaur Train,

Feel free to travel in sun or rain!

Look for a frog from the Silent Era,

It's a special spot, so bring your cam-era.

Beneath his perch you'll find the treasure,

It's off the street for your hunting pleasure.

Near a driveway, so please use caution,

Watch for cars, you have no option!

Look for a plant and don't mind the guard,

Exploring is fun and not that hard!

The Jim Henson Company’s Dinosaur Train geocache is located less than one block south of Sunset Blvd. on N. La Brea Ave. Nearby are delightful little areas to relax and enjoy some sightseeing. Please note: this cache may not be accessible between Midnight and 8AM.

This cache is part of a series of other geocaches. The Jim Henson Company has hidden Dinosaur Train themed geocaches nationwide with the help of local PBS stations. To find the location of other Dinosaur Train themed geocaches, simply search for "Dinosaur Train" in the keyword search option. Each geocache celebrates a dinosaur featured in the Dinosaur Train Field Guide.

This geocache is the Tyrannosaurus geocache. Tyrannosaurus was a carnivore from the Cretaceous. It ate large dinosaurs, like Triceratops. Some scientists think Tyrannosaurus could eat more than 200 pounds of meat in one bite! That’s bigger than a goat!

What is your favorite dinosaur? Be sure to tell us when signing the logbook!
