"Loc N Loc" container close to a bike trail near Long Lake.
When I first found Mike's Place there were no trails nearby and it was obviously an abandoned area where a homeless person had once lived. There were remnants of an old tent, a firepit, some cooking pots nailed to a tree, and several dozen wine bottles flung nearby. I did a CITO and the place looked pretty good afterwards. A few weeks later I found a homeless guy living in another area of the park. He said that his name was Mike, and that he had been living in the Park in several areas for two years, and that I was the first one to have actually found him; this may have once been his home.
The cache is actually placed near the location of an orienteering flag, and just off a nearby bike trail. Be sure to visit Mike's Place.
