Carry on Caching 23 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Geocache Description:

This walk is approx 2 miles long and should take approx 2 hours, to complete.
A scenic walk through beautiful woodland, quiet lanes and
footpaths.
It comprises of 8 caches in all and if done in order will bring you back to the parking point.

We have set this small circular walk around some of the lovely, not so well known footpaths around the upper hillside of Hendre.

This trail has been set with children in mind but there are a couple of trickyish ones for the grownups. Please be aware that there are open shafts although fenced off and an old disused quarry not to far away, so please do take care with Geokids

This really is one of North Wales’ best kept little
secrets. A truly beautiful peaceful walk which makes you feel like
you are in a different world.

We really hope that you enjoy the walk and the surroundings as
much as we do.
