I invite you to Balatongyorok, to take a look at the various types of coastline.
1.
First you can see an open coast, where the reed naturally doesn’t overgrow the place. It’s rare at the northern side, usually all the beaches are artificial. You will find a beautiful view to take panorama photos.
2,
At the second point you can see a typical Balaton-type old house in very good condition. It was built in 1833 (even, if the sign shows 1831), and owned by a fisher family. At the time the end of the garden was where now the train station is, and there started the lake. So the fisherman went to work from his own garden. One of the reasons why these few houses are in a good condition is that in the 60’s the building of a heliport was planned here for the leaders of the communist party that luckily didn’t realize, but the house owners didn’t got the permission for construction so they have to conserve it as it was.
3.
The third point is at the swamp. Don’t be afraid, you shouldn’t walk on the water or do other tricks, just walk in and find the track!
