Alongside the cemetery which is the final resting place of Dr.
Joseph H. Griffin.
Joseph H. Griffin, born in 1888, was a black surgeon in Decatur
County, GA during the 1920's to 1960's. He established a hospital
for black citizens and had a most interesting life. There have been
at least two books written about him. The cache is located along
the side of the cemetery, which is fenced. There is no need to go
inside.
