My dad and I do share some interests, although finding geocaches isn't one of them. This puzzle is inspired by an event that he told me about.
The event links the following two pictures.
When DIG=JEM, they both equal AB.CD
but looked at another (related) way, JEM-DIG = E.
The event involved something or someone that was sinister yet elegant, and it brought one career to an end before it had properly started.
You need the name of the place where the event occurred; how many different letters are there in its name? F
How many letters (in total) are in the name of the country where this took place? G
Finally, you need to find the year the event took place=19XY.
The cache is hidden at:
N 51 1(3-A).D(G-4)D
W 000 (F-Y)C.(E-2)X(E-1)
You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
As I am a poor school student I couldn't afford a pen or pencil for the cache.
Please note the terrain rating and return the cache box to EXACTLY the same position as you found it in. No special equipment is needed as there are lots of natural materials lying around at GZ.
