This cache will bring you to the "Outer Edge" of Waveny, the trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. It's a nice gravel path, perfect for your dogs, bikes, and feet!
This is also the last leg of the 5k course we run for cross country here. Not advised, but you could stop for a little caching mid-race!
The first stage is a micro, and pretty close to the trail, so watch out for muggles. The second, and final stage, about 1/10th of a mile away, will bring you back towards the entrance for a short bushwack. Both containers are a bit fragile, and camouflaged, so be careful. The final is a small jar with room for swag about the size of a golf ball. I will be happy to move your trackables along too if they sit for too long.
Parking can be found up by the Waveny Mansion, at the top of the hill. It's pretty easy to find. Be sure to check out all the other great caches in the park too! The park is open dawn till dusk.
