From BD07 there’s a very muddy patch to get over, & almost no path to start with. However, it does get better.
SERIES DESCRIPTION
This is a series of caches in and around Badger, & Badger Dingle, Shropshire... They are the first we’ve placed, so I hope they’re ok.
Difficulty & Terrain Rating relate to the series rather than the individual caches.
We’ve done our best to give accurate GPS Coordinates by taking lots of ‘Average’ readings. But, most of the Dingle has steep sides & lots of tree cover, & so we have tried to provide comprehensive ‘Hints’, & pictures where necessary, to minimise search times, & enjoy the location.
Most of the caches are easily accessible, but there are parts of the Dingle that may be unsuitable for small children as there are steep drops. Some areas may be overgrown (in the Summer), & muddy (in the Winter).
Containers are Small, & Micro. They contain a log, but no swaps (We haven’t managed to get enough together, yet). There is a pencil in each cache, but it would be advisable to bring your own writing implement to sign the log.
The main reason for laying caches in this area is that it’s a great location... a hidden gem.
There’s no clear cut circular route (especially as there’s no ‘official’ exit from the Dingle at the Western end), so we’ve put them in the most logical order we could. The walk round will be approximately 5 miles, but it’s well worth it, as there are some great views & terrain.
Surprise surprise, there are lots of Badger setts in the area... be careful not to disturb them, & be very careful if you visit at night (they only come out at night, & can get aggressive if you get between them & their sett).

Parking is not easy in Badger, but we think this is probably the best spot. (Alternatively, parking may be possible in the lane up to the church).
