When we first came to Stirling we were looking for temporary accommodation and drove round various areas that we liked the look of. The first time I saw this building it reminded me of something but I couldn't place it.
The house is on Grendon Court and is best viewed discretely from the junction of Snowdon Place & Gladstone Place.
When we did find somewhere to live it was close by and I now drive past here regularly. It wasn't long before I clocked the similarity to a lovely picture called "Windows in the West" by Glasgow artist - Avril Paton. Look her up on the net, the picture appears in her portfolios page. I was so taken with the picture that I went to the Kelvingrove to see it for real and spent a good while studying the wee stories it tells.
Enjoy the cache which is a 35mm Film canister placed a little way away from the building so as not to encroach on the residents privacy but imagine the stories that these windows can tell.
