I love this part of George Bush Park. It's a long hike and the
flora and fauna are always interesting.
The day I was out here there was standing water everywhere and
lots of mud. Be prepared. In warmer weather the mosquitoes are
going to be numerous and ravenous. There are undoubtedly a few
snakes in the grass as well.
We also saw the chupacabra when placing this cache. I thought it
was a feral pig. Fendmar thought it was a cat. So we agreed to call
it the chupacabra. Take a camera along and get a picture for us,
will you?
