IMPORTANT UPDATE
NOVEMBER 2021
THE BRIDGE OVER THE WIDE DEEP STREAM BETWEEN #18 AND #19 HAS BEEN WASHED AWAY AND THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY ACROSS BUT THERE IS A GOOD FOOTPATH FROM JUST BEFORE #16 DIRECT TO #22 THAT YOU COULD TAKE INSTEAD. YOU COULD STILL DO #17 & #18 AND THEN RE-TRACE YOUR STEPS BACK TO #16 IF YOU WISH. LIKEWISE WITH #21 TO #19 IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY!
This is a series of 24 traditional caches, set on a 6½ mile circular walk, starting from the village of Crawley Down. They are mostly micros (no pencils), but there are 4 bigger ones for your swaps.
You can park in the small village car park near the pub in the centre of the village, or anywhere you like near the shops or village green. Crawley Down is on a bus route.
A few bits of the walk are very muddy at times, but most of it is not too bad. The footpaths near Fen Place Mill have recently been altered, and will be different from your map, but they are well marked on the ground, so just follow the signposts.
DO NOT DRIVE ALONG ANY PRIVATE ROADS TO REACH ANY OF MY CACHES.
