Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the southern end of Twelve O’clock Ride, which leads in a northerly direction to Coombe Abbey Country Park. Also, it provides you with a view of Coventry Stadium, home of the Coventry Bees speedway team and, until recently, a greyhound racing venue. This could yet return.

This is another in a series of caches created by ‘A Coventry Way Association’. The association was formed to promote a long distance footpath, A Coventry Way, and to support local authorities in the path’s maintenance. Our primary aim was to encourage people to discover and use the local countryside. A book of 21 Circular Walks was produced, broadly based on the main walk. Our plan is to set out a series of caches, located on or near each of the 21 walks. See (visit link) for further information.

The cache is a micro, containing just a log and small pencil. There is parking on the quiet lane, close to the cache, so this can be treated as a cache and dash. Alternatively, if you intend to complete the whole walk, this starts from Coombe Country Park at N52 24.745 W001 24.549, and eventually passes directly behind Coventry Stadium. The cache can be done in conjunction with Crossroads No Motel Walk 11 (GC24EMG).
