Geocache Description:

Situated on the west side of Stretton on Dunsmore, the path leading to the cache commands a fine view of Coventry. In the foreground is the church of St Leonard in Ryton on Dunsmore, one of Warwickshire’s oldest Norman churches. The question is … can all of Coventry’s three spires be seen from here?

Limited parking is available on Freeboard Lane at N52 21.330 W001 24.596.

This is another in a series of caches created by ‘A Coventry Way Association’. The association was formed to promote a long distance footpath, A Coventry Way, and to support local authorities in the path’s maintenance. Our primary aim was to encourage people to discover and use the local countryside. A book of 21 Circular Walks was produced, broadly based on the main walk. Our plan is to set out a series of caches, located on or near each of the 21 walks. See (visit link) for further information.

The cache is a micro (larger than 35mm film canister), containing just a log. It is located somewhere on walk 8, and on a short section shared with walk 9.
