This is another in a series of caches that link some of the fantastical places from the “Doctor Who” series with the fantastic reality of Wales.
This is one of a series of caches based on locations used for filming Doctor Who, be the filming the latest series or any of the earlier ones. If you're near such a location and want to add to the series, just let me know so I can keep the numbers without duplicates and please keep to the naming convention of starting the series with "Who Was Here: ". This was one of the first places I found out had been used in the new series of Doctor Who, all the way back in 2005 when Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor took Rose Tyler to Victorian Cardiff at Christmas and met with Charles Dickens and the Unquiet Dead, not to mention the first appearance of Eve Myles as the distant ancestor of Torchwood’s Gwen Cooper.
I’ve been planning this cache for a while, but there has been work going on on this building so I couldn’t actually place the cache for until recently and then the Swansea Museum Micro came up so I've had to rethink this one. So you need to go to the above location and look at the front of the Exchange building.
To get the location of the final cache, you need the following:
A = Number of steps up into the building
B = Number of arched windows on the ground floor facing Cambrian Place plus the number of square bands around one double column
C = Number of lamp posts outside the building
D = Number of small arched windows on the top floor plus the number of square bands around the double columns
E = Number of steps up into the building minus the number of lamp posts outside the building entrance
