Geocache Description:

Small cache in a spot looking out over the coastal village of Longhoughton to the North Sea beyond. Please note it is on the other side of the new fence.

Best parking is at the village shop, follow the footpath west out of the village, under the railway line and up the hill towards the quarry.

A short walk but up hill and can be quite boggy underfoot particularly by the railway line.

Cache site is a secluded spot but popular with dog walkers. Keep an eye out for the resident heron who frequents these parts. If visiting towards twilight then keep your eyes and ears open for several different species of owl hunting in the fields.

A good one for any train spotters too, as the railway seen is the East Coast Mainline.

The cache contains some small tradeable items of swag.

Congratulations Synders - FTF.
