Autrefois l’on nommait les lieux selon les habitants qui occupaient les murs, voire selon le métier qu’ils y exerçaient. Ici vous êtes à Franquine. J’en ignore l’origine.
J’ai créé cette cache pour témoigner de mon admiration pour les vieilles pierres. Avec l’exode des citadins vers les terres moins onéreuses de la campagne toulousaine, il subsiste bien peu de ruines ou maisons inhabitées. Celle-ci demeure inoccupée parce que trop éloignée de tout. Pas d’électricité, pas d’eau courante, pas de téléphone. Demeurera-t-elle longtemps ainsi ?
Une petite mare se trouve derrière les murs (attention aux enfants !). Merci de respecter les lieux qui sont privés.

Formerly, places were called by the people who lived on them, or even according to the profession they practiced there. There, you are in Franquine. I know nothing about its origin.
I created this cache to show my admiration for old stones. With the exodus of city dwellers to the cheaper lands of Toulouse’s countryside, there are very few houses in ruins or uninhabited. This one remains vacant because it is too far from everything. No electricity, no running water, no telephone. Will it stay so for long?
There is small pond behind the walls (take care of your children!). Thank you for respecting the place, which is private.
