This commuter lot was completed last year after building the New Gloucester bypass. This a a quick park and grab that is accessible 24x7 and year round.
What is so interesting is that this lot is no where near the Maine Turnpike (4 miles away) and almost no one knows it is here. The lot was taken by imminent domain when they built the new road and it appears the state decided to use some federal money to make a park and ride. Now I'm a big fan or car pooling but this lot and its maintenance are pretty costly for the very few cars that use it.
Cachers please report how many cars you see in this lot when you visit. So far we have yet to see more than one car at a time here. Or maybe it is right out of some Stephen King novel and the commuters are of a different sort!
Bring a pen and initials only as this is a very small container!
