Geocache Description:

A 14 km walk on fire trails, plus a steep scramble down to the cache.

After placing "Bullen's Brother Brett" I had decided to go across the ridge line to "Going Commando", thinking that it would be an easier approach (I was wrong). We missed the turning we needed to do to get across the the other ridge that the cache was on and instead descended down this steep and loose hillside; taking the more direct route to the cache. We eventually made out way to a dried up creek bed and followed it down until it joined up with another creek bed at right angles. It was such a pretty spot with some lovely rocks and trees that I decided to place a cache there. This is how this cache was born. The creek bed is at the bottom of two steep ridge lines forming a "crack" in the Bullen range. The rocky area where the cache is hidden had extensive hiding places and due to the steepness of the terrain the coordinates may not be spot on. Review the spoiler photos and consider taking them with you to avoid disappointment. When replacing the cache please be careful not to drop heavy rocks onto it.
