Rynek:
Tarnów często jest nazywany "perłą polskiego renesansu" ze względu na zachowany renesansowy układ architektoniczny miasta i dużą ilość zabytków z tego okresu. Najbardziej reprezentatywnym przykładem jest tarnowski rynek. Został on wytyczony w czasie lokacji miasta w 1330 r., ale otaczające go współcześnie kamienice pochodzą głównie z XVI-XVIII w. Do najciekawszych należą kamienice w jego północnej części oznaczone numerami 20-21, gdzie mieści się muzeum miejskie. Najbardziej jednak charakterystyczną budowlą w obrębie tarnowskiego rynku jest ratusz wybudowany w XIV w., który często stanowi wizytówkę miasta. Pierwotnie gotycki, po wielokrotnych przebudowach uzyskał cechy renesansowej budowli. W jego 30-to metrowej wieży znajduje się najstarszy w Polsce ciągle działający nakręcany ręcznie zegar ratuszowy.

2. Idź do N 50° 00.771 E 020° 59.316 w pobliże jednej z najstarszych kamienic. Na jej murze widać dwie złote daty, jedna pod drugą. Odczytaj ostatnią cyfrę z dolnej, mniejszej daty i nazwij ją X.
3. teraz idź pod współrzędne N 50° 00.743 E 020° 59.272. Niegdyś znajdowała się tu pierwsza rezydencja rodu Sanguszków, którzy przyczynili się do rozwoju podupadającego Tarnowa. Przez kamienicę prowadzi pasaż, którym można dojść na Plac Kazimierza Wielkiego. Nazwano go imieniem Tadeusza Tertila, najbardziej zasłużonego dla rozwoju miasta burmistrza Tarnowa. Na prawo od wejścia do pasażu znajduje się tablica. Liczbę liter w ostatnim słowie na tej tablicy nazwij Z.

Market square:
Tarnów is often called the „pearl of Polish Renaissance” with regard to the Renaissance architectural configuration of the city and the large number of historical buildings from this period. The most representative place is the market square. It was marked out in the charter of the city in 1330. The surrounding tenement houses are from the 14.-16. century. The most interesting are the houses in the north of the market square with numbers 20-21, where the city museum is located. The most distinctive building in the market square is the City Hall built in the 14. century, which is the flagship of Tarnów. Originally Gothic, after many rebuildings the City Hall has acquired a Renaissance character. In its 30 meters high tower there is the oldest still working wind-up city hall clock.
The cache:
1. Listed coordinates lead to an entrance to the City Hall. Find a plaque with deserved to the city Jan Tarnowski. On the bottom you will see a date. Note the 1st digit of the year and call it Y.
2. Go to N 50° 00.771 E 020° 59.316 near one of the tenement houses. On its wall you will see two golden dates, one below the other. Note the last digit of the lower, smaller date and call it X.
3. Now go to the coordinates N 50° 00.743 E 020° 59.272. Presently there were first residence of Sanguszko family, who contributed to the development of a declining Tarnów.
