For the most part, the walk to this cache is most pleasant, along a paved path. You will, however, need to leave the paved path & start bushwacking your way into the woods.
The foliage & lakes are beautiful at this time of year! Also, with the cooler weather, the gnats & mosquitos are basically nil (but come the warmer weather...look out!). This is a beautiful & popular spot for walkers, runners, in-line skaters, & bikers, so take care to stay to the right while on the paved path. You may also get a strange look when departing the path if a lot of people are around, so just make a funny face back & move along. [;)]
The original cache stash includes: 3 Halloween erasers, 1 Halloween Pez dispenser, 1 Halloween notepad, 1 kazoo, 1 package of crayons, 1 package of stickers, 1 race car bookmark, 1 witch keychain (at least we think it's a keychain), & 1 travel bug named "Rosie O'Donnell Fan." The last time we checked on this cache, we updated the container & it is now in an ammo box. The old tupperware type container was getting pretty beat up & weathered & we felt that this would be a better way to go.
