Nieistniejaca wies-widmo w pld. czesci Gór Bystrzyckich. Prowadzi tedy zielony szlak graniczny, a zetkniecie z ruinami domostw i zarastajacymi polami i pastwiskami robi spore wrazenie i budzi skojarzenia z Bieszczadami.
Przypuszczalnie juz w 1. pol. XIV w. wydobywano tu rude zelaza, przerabiana w kuznicy w Boboszowie. Pierwsza pisana wzmianka o wsi Rotenflues pojawila sie w 1630 r. W 1939 r. liczyla 67 mieszkanców. Po wojnie zostala zasiedlona, ale trudne warunki, brak komunikacji i przygraniczne polozenie spowodowaly, ze stopniowa zupelnie zanikla.
Prócz ruin domostw zachowaly sie tu ruiny barokowego kosciola z XVIII w. Co ciekawe, do 1818 r. pelnil on funkcje parafialne, mimo malej liczby mieszkanców.

A ghost-village in the southern part of the Bystrzyckie Mts. You get here following the green-marked border tourist trail. The view of ruins of houses, former fields and pastures, now partly overgrown with trees and bushes is really impressive and evokes associations with the Bieszczady in SE Poland.
Probably as early as in the first half of the 14th century iron ores were mined here to be processd in a foundry in Boboszów. The first written record about the village of Rotenflues comes from 1630. In 1939 the village had 67 residents. After World War II it was resettled by Poles, but difficult living conditions, lack of transport facilities and the near-border location brought about its gradual disappearance.
Except ruins of households, the ruin of an 18th century baroque church has survived here. What is interesting, until 1818 it was the centre of a parish, despite the small number of residents.
