Cette cache vous fera voir Aurignac sous un autre angle, et vous dévoilera sa face nord au cours d’une petite balade sur un chemin de terre. Si vous préférez marcher, le trajet est assez court.Dans ce cas, vous pouvez vous garer au début du chemin, près de l’ancien abattoir (voir photo).
Sinon, vous pouvez très bien choisir d’aller jusqu’à la cache en voiture. Elle se transforme aisément en « drive-in » !
Les remparts du château comtal entourant le donjon d’Aurignac se prolongent par une deuxième enceinte qui commence après la tour-clocher. Elle fut construite aux XIVe et XVe siècles et comprend des façades de la fin du gothique ou Renaissance. Les maisons présentent un fort dénivelé à la base. Vous pourrez voir l’arrière de l’hôtel particulier Féraud, avec ses fenêtres à meneaux : c’est la plus haute des maisons.

This cache will make you see Aurignac in a different perspective, and will unveil its north face during a stroll on a dirt road. If you prefer walking, it will not take you much time. In that case, you can park at the beginning of the path near the old slaughterhouse (see photo).
Otherwise, you may well choose to drive to the cache. It can easily be transformed into a “park and grab”!
The count's castle walls surrounding the keep of Aurignac are prolonged by a second enclosure which begins after the bell tower. It was built in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries and includes facades of late Gothic and Renaissance. You will see the back of Feraud mansion, with its mullioned windows: it is the highest house of all.
