The cache is located over the Tekapo River where you should have a good overview of the waters of Tekapo.
You may also see some fish that are caught in their own pool directly below the control gate bridge. You are only a few minutes walk from the lake shore, Church, village and start of walkways around Tekapo. From the township, there is a pedestrian walkway on the right hand side of the bridge so use this access to retrieve the cache.
Warning - traffic can be fast and furious! The cache is a magnetic container with only a log sheet to sign, so take your own pen to sign. There are various seats beyond the bridge if you wish to have a caching rest. Please replace the contents and secure the cache safely.
