Photo Edited Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

glacier_ice: It pains me to do it, this has been a favourite of mine, listening to cachers talk about solving this one. The final location is due to be paved under... it 'appeared' to be 2019, which means springtime prep of the area. May as well take it out before the snow falls. (Wasn't winter friendly anymore.)

Funny enough, not far away, an illegal homestead popped up. No idea if this would have been an issue for searchers. Also better safe than sorry.

Thanks for all who burned their eyes solving this one. Be on the lookout for a sequel! (Not the easy one either!) I have a higher resolution camera... just sayin!

Geocache Description:

This Winter Friendly Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.

Okay, I won't beat around the bush, you'll be doing that looking for the cache at the actual location. This solution to this one is in the pictures. I've been teaching a photography class this year and in some of our outings, I've been snapping photos at the same time as my students.

The pictures you see below are the small images. You'll need the large files in order to find the clues that you'll need to solve the coordinates. Just click on each photo and it will link you to the original. Look very closely or you'll miss something.

The log book itself is fittingly contained in a 35mm canister. (Yes, a difficult puzzle all for a 35mm canister. Hehe)

Congratulations to GeoPahkers for the FTF!

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
