Découverte du vieux village de Mérindol et de son mémorial vaudoix.
Discovery of ancient village Mérindol and its vaudoix memorial.

Cette cache vous fera découvrir le vieux village de Mérindol, perché sur le flanc sud du « Petit Luberon ». A son sommet sont installés un Mémorial vaudois, lequel évoque les persécutions dont les vaudois furent victimes au XVIe siècle, et une table d'orientation qui offre un panorama exceptionnel sur les Alpilles, la Sainte Baume, la Sainte Victoire.
Placez votre voiture au parking PK puis trouvez « le chemin de la draille » en suivant les panneaux « Mémorial vaudois ». Ce chemin se transforme en sentier caillouteux qui mène aux ruines.
Au sommet, trouvez la table d’orientation TO et cherchez le nom du village qui se trouve à 3 Km et dont le barrage sur la Durance porte le nom.
Numérotez chaque nouvelle lettre du nom en commençant par zéro.
La position de la cache est N43 45.RM(T+E) E005 11.(T+E)E(T+A)

This cache you will discover the old village of Mérindol, perched on the southern flank of the "Petit Luberon". At its summit are installed a Memorial Vaud, which refers to the persecution of the Vaudois were victims in the sixteenth century, and an orientation table that offers an exceptional view of the Alpilles, the Sainte Baume, Sainte Victoire.
Put your car in parking PK then find "le chemin de la draille" following the signs « Memorial Vaudoix ». This road turns into gravel path that leads to the ruins.
At the top, find the orientation table TO and search for the name of the village is 3 km and whose dam on the Durance is named.
Number each new letter name beginning with zero.
The position of the cache is N43 45.RM (T + E) E005 11. (T + E) E (T + A)
