This is an easy grab on your way through. Enjoy the historic church.
Founded in 1892 at the John and Lisa Peterson (Persson) homestead by Swedish immigrants proud of their heritage, The bricks were donated by John Peterson, who was a mason in Sweden. The Peterson homestead is approximately 1/4 mile south of the Church, and is the first house you see, closest to the road, if you stand on the Church steps and look south. I am proud to say I have some history roots in Wright Co. and this is where they are.
